Moonlit Tryst for Orchestra

Description

Moonlit Tryst is a richly romantic piece scored for string orchestra and string quartet. The string quartet, con sordino, offers a mysterious counterpoint to the more vivid and harmonically intense orchestral sections. Amidst a tapestry of long, lyrical phrases, the harp accentuates the emotion with it’s shimmery elegance. This piece was commissioned by the Vienna Symphonic Library and features their Synchron Strings, Synchronized Dimension Strings, Harp, and Percussion.

What others are saying:

“That’s beautiful, I really like the mood and the interaction between ensemble and quartet. Also, impressive you distract yourself from big scores with a small score – rather than drinking, gambling, other “distractions.””  W. Kersten

“Wonderful piece, Dave, and beautifully rendered. Somehow, you keep improving. Best wishes on the big pieces.”  T. Champe

“A soothing and dreamy piece in true Carovillano style. Hmm… I don’t know why but I feel like taking a nice long bubble bath. Nice piece as always, Dave.”  J. Smith
